What is a CVM?

CVM stands for "Certified Varsity Manager." This is a special designation given to managers who meet the CVM requirements.

The designation is an umbrella for multiple specialties. These specialties range from custodial management to mall operations management. Varsity University currently offers curriculum for the Custodial Management CVM, while other specializations are forthcoming. Learn more


Custodial Management CVM:

Managers complete the courses below to obtain the Custodial Management CVM. These courses help custodial managers gain critical knowledge and skill in areas like customer services, strategy, human resources and manager effectiveness. Their purpose is to help develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to implement Varsity's service offer of high quality cleaning while delivering peace of mind and repeatable success.

Who may become a CVM?

Until further specialty courses are available, all Varsity supervisors and managers may pursue a Custodial Management CVM designation. In the future, VU will have certifications designed specifically for other positions within the company (i.e., Certified Administrative Assistant, Certified Operations Director etc...)

I'm interested in becoming a Custodial Management CVM. How do I enroll?

After you have completed your new-hire orientation, and any other new-hire training required by your region, you may enroll to take CVM courses. To enroll, simply complete the Enrollment Form.
